Absolutely unreal. My friend had carbonara and I had the pizza with pistachios on, cannot remember the name of it. But it was absolutely bad boy, really really nice. As was his carbonara. Got a spicy tomato garlic bread and some sweet potato fries too. All the food was class, bruschetta to start too was brilliant. Definitely recommend here!!

My husband and I had a delicious meal for his birthday. He had pizza, I had seafood pasta. Both were great.
Service was good too.
We were upstairs where it was really cold. They switched a heater on when I asked but it was at the other side of the room so didn’t make much difference

Beautiful food, really good service. Excellent boss running things, she runs a tight ship. Really welcoming team, nothing too much trouble for anyone. We are a family hard to please with food and we highly recommend this restaurant. We are now regular customers and every visit has been 5/5.

We visited last night for my Husband’s Birthday. It was Saturday night so very busy, with a lovely atmosphere. We were seated upstairs which was packed, but, everyone had their own space and I didn’t feel cramped! We were served with a drink straight away. It did take some time for someone to take our order but we accepted that as there was a large party that was also being catered for. We did get an apology from the staff and all staff were friendly and professional in their approach. The food was absolutely fantastic and we couldn’t fault it. We will be back!

Our friends have been to this restaurant before and wanted us to sample the amazing food. Even though they had told us how good it is we were still blown away by the quality.
In our opinion the atmosphere is just right…. A cosy bistro style venue. The owner is very friendly and welcoming and the service was excellent.
The food is absolutely fantastic and beautifully presented. We had arancini and Parmigiana to start with. For mains my husband had the sea food pasta with sea bass and I had the mushroom pesto and walnut pasta . All the dishes were very tasty indeed and generous portions.
We cannot praise this restaurant highly enough and just wish it was closer to where we live

We visited here on a Saturday afternoon, we had not made a reservation but were seated immediately. The staff were friendly and polite and the food was amazing! The tomato garlic bread was the best I have ever tasted. The portion sizes were good too. I would definitely recommend a visit!

I went for a girly lunch with 15 family members to celebrate my late mothers life and my niece’s 16th birthday. The food and service was excellent. We should have pre ordered but with a mix up with my phone number it didn’t happen. However they managed to serve us all at the same time and accommodated one of my relatives who could only stay for one hour. My little niece has food allergies and they were accommodating and informative. Thank you to our main waiter (blonde guy) for putting up with us. Would not hesitate to go back.

This is a small Italian bistro style restaurant in Hessle. The food is amazing and the staff are wonderful – so helpful and friendly. It is a very relaxed atmosphere and the owner (I think she was – she was in charge) is very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. As well as the food being excellent there is a lot of it and the prices are really reasonable. For two of us for three courses each plus a glass of wine each the bill totalled £64. If you are in or around Hessle give this place a try – you won’t regret it but make sure you book as it gets busy.

Absolutely the best Italian food I’ve had in a long while, will absolutely be coming back. Portions are above standard, service is great and the food speaks for itself.

This place caught our eye a few weeks back and we’d been meaning to go in for red wine and arancini for some time. So last Saturday we did. We sat outside (in October!). The wine and food was beautiful. Such a cool experience.

We went to Vivace for our niece’s 10th Birthday.2 Adults and 3 children.The food was excellent and the staff were so kind.We brought a balloon and cake which I dropped off earlier in the day and the staff put the balloon on the table to surprise her.She loved it.They brought the cake afterwards and gave us some plates as well.What a service.It’s a great addition to Hessle and we cannot wait to go again ( without the children ).Thank you Vivace.

First visit & won’t be the last. Had an amazing meal the food was fabulous. Had bread, olives & garlic tomato bread to share them I had a seafood tortellini with sea bass absolutely divine, after a little rest managed the amoretto dessert as recommended by Alfie (excellent choice). Have to mention Glynn (quick flight to Seville for those oranges 😂😂) & Alfie such great service, recommendations & humour, made our visit much more fun. We are already planning our next visit it was so good

We booked a table here for lunch after relatives had tried it out and recommended it. I think the pizza was quite probably the best I’ve ever had and all the food we saw being served looked amazing too. The service was great, lovely decor and we thought it was well worth the money.

We went in for an unplanned lunch and got a table upstairs. There was a great atmosphere and we were impressed with the authentic Italian menu. We ordered a starter to share and two pasta dishes for main and we were very pleased with the quality of the food! Great portion sizes too, at a very fair price. We will definitely be visiting again!
